1978 Ocean 37 with twin Perkins HT6354 145HP diesel engines on a direct shaft drive.The engines had a full rebuild 9 years ago and the fuel tanks lead lined. This is a truly stunning original example with only 3 previous owners. The vessel is equipped with all its original equipment which is still in working order. The vessel offer 6 berths with a aft Owners cabin with ensuite head & shower and 2 single berths. Separate forward cabin with V shape berth offering either 2 single berths or a double with the infill and a convertible saloon. The vessel is equipped with a heating, Hot water, fridge, gas oven and grill with 4 gas burners, Radar, long range radio, autohelm, depth log. tender davits, electric windlass. This is a must see example as the boat is totally original and only three owners from new. Vessel is lying off site.

Two large single V berths offering superb en-suite facilities for guests using the forward cabin. Ample storage consisting of a large hanging locker, under berth storage, shelving, cupboards, drawers and vanity mirror. Opening windows and a large hatch provide excellent ventilation.
The starboard side heads compartment consists of electric sea toilet, wash basin with pressurised hot and cold water, storage cupboards and floor drainage. Access to the anchor locker is forward from this cabin.
Moving aft up three steps to the main saloon. The lower helm is situated on the starboard side and has full engine instrumentation and navigational aids.
Opposite is the dinette, an extremely large area which can seat 6-8 people. The table drops down as required to convert to a large double berth. The cabin is exceptionally light with 4 large opening windows. Moving aft on the starboard side is an excellent navigation station, Sailor VHF radio making it an excellent position to navigate whilst at sea. The Raytheon Radar is also situated close by.
Down two steps to the galley which has a large refrigerator, stainless steel sink with pressurised hot and cold water (calorifier/electric immersion) and side drainage, 4 burner gas hob, new oven and grill and ample storage space for galley accessories. The Eberspacher warm/cold air thermostatic controlled domestic heating.
Aft Main Cabin:
Moving aft down three steps to the spacious and well appointed aft cabin with two large single berths, storage cupboards and drawers and a large vanity mirror. Opposite is a large hanging locker. The safety/escape hatch is from this cabin.
The en-suite facilities are through a sliding door and consists of good shower, wash basin with hot and cold water, manual sea toilet and storage cupboards.
Upper helm/aft deck:
Access is gained via a companionway leading up from the saloon through a sliding hatch and opening door onto a teak laid cockpit sole. The upper helm is situated on the starboard side and again provides full engine instrumentation and navigational aids. Helm seat and rear seating making this a good area for entertaining family and friends. The table from the main cabin can also be moved to here for outside eating.
Stainless steel radar arch hinges to provide less than 3.5m air draft for French canals. The upper deck area is protected with a full canopy cover which extends with a bimini extension across the whole deck area providing good shade.

This is a very original Ocean 37 with only three owners since 1979 and the current owner has owner her since 2009. The vessel has a stunning Sailor long range radio which is still in working order. The current owner has even been all the way to Paris on the vessel.
