FIND OUT MORE1987 Westerly Storm 33 equipped an 18hp Volvo Penta Diesel engine. ‘Fanny De Laninon’ is a fabulous example of the Westerly Storm model and is a pleasure to be aboard.
The Storm was conceived as a racing yacht but with the usual Westerly interior comforts. They were an immediate success and were launched at the 1986 Southampton Boat Show with most owners using them for cruising.
The Storm was intended as a performance cruiser with racing abilities for a one design class but most were used for fast cruising and like all Westerly yachts the Storm is well made and strong. They resisted using interior mouldings in favour of solid joinery of hardwood and plywood giving the Storm a solid feel.
Overall fair condition for her age however there are areas that require attention in places for both the linings and teak
