This hire boat offers plenty of seating for six people, with an onboard toilet. A sliding roof that opens to offer an open air experience providing lots of seating space for sightseeing down the river. We provide basic tuition and life jackets to get you on your way. Self-drive Boat hire on the River Witham has a lot to offer for any family fun experience, new to boating or an experienced boater will easily manage this lovely river cruiser to help you get away from it all.
Burton Waters will provide you with the tuition you need to set off on a fun day out. Lifejackets, insurance, and fuel is included in our prices to make life simple.
Full day hire is 10.30am till 4pm. Take to the water and explore the beautiful Fossdyke River stopping off at any of the various pubs and cafes along the way. Our Sheerline is suitable for up to 6 adults but during Covid will be restricted to government guidelines.
The Marina is based on the Fossdyke and you can move down into the Brayford Pool and enjoy the sites of the Historical City of Lincoln. In the opposite direction cruise all the way to Torksey and enjoy the open countryside along the way ending up where the Fossdyke meets the tidal River Trent.
Lincoln is easily walkable for visitors with good mobility – the main shopping stretches from St Marks Shopping centre in the south up to the Cathedral Quarter – known locally as ‘Uphill’.
