Confidence Building
The skills of close quarter marina handling and mooring on your berth is a necessity. We focus to build confidence in a calm manner so you are able to enjoy the continued learning when you are alone.
Handling and Experience
Handling of a cruiser, narrowboat or barge, providing new and experienced boaters with the skills necessary to successfully skipper a vessel.
Acompanied Passages
Being based in Lincolnshire, we are close to the tidal Trent and therefore the Ouse and Humber; tidal rivers can be a dangerous place to be if misinterpreted. We offer a service to accompany customers on their boats where they may wish to bring a boat to or from Burton Waters. The advantages of accompanied trips provide you with confidence and a knowledge of the characteristics of tidal waters; you will be trained on passage planning, reading of the tides, tide tables and navigating the tidal rivers and sea.
