It was with great sadness to learn about the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. This is an extremely sad time for the entire nation. Since her coronation in 1953, her life has been one of service and devotion. Devotion inspires bravery, bravery inspires sacrifice, and we thank her for her sacrifice to our nation for over 70 years. In 1957, at the first televised Christmas broadcast she said, “I cannot lead you into battle. I do not give you laws or administer justice. But I can do something else. I can give you my heart and my devotion to these old islands and to all the peoples of our brotherhood of nations." I think we can all collectively agree although deeply saddening, there is much to celebrate when reflecting on her fantastic 70-year reign. Queen Elizabeth II had a deep passion for life at sea and promotion of maritime industry being a members and later patrons of the Royal Yachting Association since 1948. We here at Burton Waters Boat Sales extend our deepest condolences to the Royal Family as we join the nation in mourning the loss of Her Majesty.   Thank you, Ma’am,   Her Majesty the Queen
