Burton Waters Marina is situated off the Fossdyke, the oldest canal in England, thought to have been built around AD 120 by the Romans. When you leave the marina basin, turn left to take yourself down into the Brayford Pool and enjoy the sites of the historical City of Lincoln. Travel through the Brayford and continue under the Glory Hole, to take in the City centre.
In the opposite direction, enjoy the open countryside and cruise all the way to Torksey Lock, where the Fossdyke meets the tidal River Trent.
Full day hire is 10.15am til 4pm. Take to the water and explore the beautiful Fossdyke River stopping off at any of the various pubs along the way.
